    Wie immer war die Anleitung perfekt, bis auf ein kleines rundes Teil alles dabei und das Ergebnis im Bild spricht für sich. Wie immer habe ich auch den BRIXMAX Beleuchtungssatz dazu gekauft und verbaut. Beleuchtet sehen die Schiffe und Figuren gleich doppelt so gut aus.
    Extra Lob noch an den Versender. Obwohl am 4. Advent erst bestellt und trotz Mitteilung, dass es erst nach Weihnachten geliefert werden würde (was mir egal war, da der Bausatz für mich selbst war), kam das Paket an Heiligabend an. Super!

    I spent eight hour straight putting this together. The reason why it took me that long is because I made a mistake in one of the early stages of assembly. Fifteen stages later the pieces weren't lining up. So I had to disassemble the whole thing and start over. It's a good sized product and it looks awesome.

    Look If you love Lego and Love star wars then this is a no brainer buy for your Lego collection. the model is excellently thought out buy the Lego designer and has some very cool features like Luke's lightsaber inside the top of R2 D2's head like in the movie Return of the Jedi also you can find R2's interface probe and claw hand inside his chest. the Head does fully move and the middle foot can go inside his body for a two leg display. yeah I think its fully worth the asking Price of 250 dollars the build is very fun to build.

    I’ve been a Star Wars fan since Star Wars existed. At 65, and with a profound physical disability, this was my first attempt at Lego. It took me 10 days to complete and offered more than a few challenges, but I’m hooked. I loved every bit of it. The presentation was excellent. The “bricks” go together with an almost sensual pleasure (especially if you’ve been dabbling with “fake” bricks). I found something to fill a hole that my disability had opened. I am now a card carrying AFOL. The UCS Millennium Falcon was purchased before I finished this model, but it had to wait a couple of months til I was ready for it.

    Overall, this is a nice lego set. The instructions are pretty good for the most part. There are a few places where they just show a bunch of parts you need, and then a diagram of what it should look like once the parts are on, but no arrows showing where things go. Generally not a big deal as the diagrams are pretty good and allow you to progress at a nice pace. I only had to go to the youtubes once for clarification on one particular assembly.

    My kit was missing one part, but Lego's excellent website and customer service got the missing brick on it's way pretty quickly.

    In short, I do recommend this kit. It is fun and challenging and looks great. If you're a Star Wars fan, I think you will like the end result. I also bought a 3rd party lighting and sound kit that I am eventually going to install.

    This was a very fun build. It took me probably 8 hours total to build it (going at a leisurely pace and split over a few day). The arms aren’t as sturdy as I would have liked and if you are adding a lighting kit be sure you aren’t displaying it on a glass surface. When lit the colored insides show in the reflection. Mine came missing the sticker for the plaque but I reached out to lego and they sent me a replacement free of charge. Overall this was a solid purchase and will make for a good display piece.

    Bought this for my boyfriend's birthday as he loves legos and Star Wars. I don't know anything about legos or Star Wars, so I bought the first thing that I recognized—R2-D2. The lego came in a massive box. I thought I was mistakenly sent a small table, but the lego filled most of the package. I thought he would be about 1/4th of the size. Massive lego. I Gave it to my boyfriend right before moving in with him, and he freaked out. Has barely spoken to me for a week because he's too busy building it. 10/10.

    I bought this as a gift for my husband. While the set is great and there were no issues with the pieces, the shipping was awful. The set was shipped in its box, and nothing else. The shipping label was slapped on the front and the box itself was clearly roughed up during transit. Thankfully I was home upon delivery otherwise the gift would have been outed. This is the first time that any lego set was shipped without an Amazon brown box or shipping bag. Everything was fine for the set and the piece itself looks amazing!

    We bought this for our daughter's 23rd birthday and she was so excited. She has built other Star Wars Lego projects so she was able to navigate the instructions with only a couple goof ups that she had to redo. The R2 is bigger than the other things she has done and at 2,000+ pieces there's a lot of steps. She couldn't put it down and so she was done after a couple of LONG nights. It's pretty spendy for a box of teensy plastic bricks but the look on her face was well worth it. The level of detail is really impressive on it.
    Now we have to find a place to keep him...

I did have a single missing peice but If you go to the website you can request the missing peice free of charge.i just got the one that the product manager didn't check which is fine I don't mind. I did a bag a day. Trying to take my time. I like to take my time with the kits.this is a wonderful gift for any kid or adult. Asi am a adult. 10/10

    We LOVE Lego! This was ordered for our son for Christmas. The quality of the shipping was truly fabulous. The set box was in a box that fit like a glove which was then put into an Amazon box that for snuggly as well. Nothing was messed up, bent, squished or anything. I was impressed with the shipping.
    The Lego set quality goes without saying, of course. You just can’t beat Lego. My son was beyond excited to get this set he has wanted for several years.

    I bought this Lego set for myself for my birthday because I’m a huge Star Wars fan. The beginning build was going smoothly then I noticed something didn’t line up with the middle leg. I had to deconstruct and reassemble everything. When I got to the final head piece I spun R2s head around and it went flying off and shattered into a bunch of pieces. But it was completely my fault. So I had to rebuild the last bag of pieces again. It was frustrating but once completed it was a really cool piece of Star Wars to have in my room. Hopefully it’ll be worth a lot more in thr future.

    Very happy with the gift. I also bought a kit to light it up, which really added to the fun & use once displayed. If you choose to light it up, buy the kit with remote.

    They do not come any better than this kit. If you are a Lego enthusiast, there is no reason not to add this to your collection. It is a bit pricey, but if it is within your means, it will not disappoint. It has to be one of Lego's best kits yet. It was joyful process to build and you have mixed feelings when it is completed. Sad that you are done and glad you have a very accurate Lego representation of R2D2.

    Just an awesome sets and better looking than the UCS one in my opinion. I am not a fan of studded finishes like the older one. I looked at the star wars model from top to bottom and this one hits every aspect of it in some way or another. Minor differences that I would've liked to see but the Lego employees are masters builders for a reason.
